Hello... glad to find the other April birthday people. This websight is kind of confusing for me - am technically challenged. =0) I'm 6 weeks out and these last few days have noticed that I am getting hungry 3-4 times a day. I'm easily able to eat more than the 3 ounces I thought I was to stick to... worried about stretching my stomach too. Glad to hear that 1/2 a cup is the recomended amount now. That's about what I'm eating. I have a problem. When I get home at night I'm starved - feel like I could eat the whole fridge and throw up... any ideas for getting out of that bad bad pattern? I'm working out 3 times/week - maybe i should go every night?

Working out should only make you more hungry. I am not sure what you are eating but maybe try denser protein sources (i.e. chicken breast, hard boiled eggs, etc). You can also always do a protein shake when you are hungry. I know they always kill my hunger Also, I assume that you are eating every 3-5 hours. We all differ but we should never go longer than 5, I usually go 4. I also always eat a high protein snack before I leave work (tuna salad on crackers, hard boiled egg and some yogurt, cottage cheese, etc.). Hopefully that helps.

Thanks, Jessica. I've been eating something dense at 10:00, but at 2:00 i've been slacking a little and having applesauce or something. Haven't been eating before leaving because its only 2 hours - now that you mention it, you're probably right. I'll get some cottage cheese for the office fridge today. Thank you!

Low fat string cheese does the trick for me - it's only an ounce, but it packs about 7g of protein and gives you something to chew on. I have one at 10am, then another around 3pm (I don't get off wor****il 6:30pm, so sometimes have another on the way home at 7pm). That's 21g of snack protein, for only 180 calories and 6g of fat. I don't really get hungry, but I get a feeling that I should eat (sick, grumbly below pouch).

If you can try working out in the morning. It will help you to feel tired in the evening and perhaps you will get to bed before that light night I'm bored hunger sets in. Also you may need to eat more than just the protein. Round out your meals a bit more. Even though protein stays in your system the longest if it's the only thing that's there you will get hungry sooner. I do not really feel hungry yet I just get the signs that I have gone a while without eating. I start to feel a little drained. Hope I helped.

I'm working in the morning, start at 7am after a long commute, but i'm walking 2 miles/day at "lunch", so i'm getting some cardio in... I think i need to take the lazy boyz out of the living room. If i'm not comfy, maybe i'll get out there and do something. HA! Thanks, Jeneen! =0)
