Protein bars??

I have some of these too (I know, I'm a freak, I have everything in terms of bars and shakes). I am scared of them though because I always hate the taste. A lot of times I buy these things and just stare at them. I wish you could absorb protein that way... I'd be all good.

luna bars at wal- mart or at your grocery store. they are hard to get down though. but dosen't cramp my stomach. ate half a tuna sandwich on whole wheat bread and visiting the bathroom alot this am. ttyl nikki

One of my fave breakfasts is half a kashi bar crumbled in Greek style yogurt (Fage for instance). I like some crunch with it! The kashi bars are the only one I've tried and they go down well.

I know that I had a different procedure, but one that I found that is awesome and I eat one throughout the day is the Pay-Day protein bar. It tastes just like the candy bar, but with 15g of protein. I start out with it in the morning and take little pieces throughout the day and by the time I leave work I am done with it. It's really good and it's tolerable for me (as long as I spread it out). I can only find them at Wal-Mart though.

I think they have 12g, but I am not sure. Which isn't too bad if you just have one a day.

i haven't tried these yet, but found them on another post and saved the link: http://p4.hostingprod.com/@freshenergybakery.com/protein.htm i do okay w/ the pure protein, if i don't eat more than 1/4. i hate 1/2 once and it was the only time i experienced serious dumping - sweating in the cold and dizzy/naseous.

I've been eating the south beach bars, and haven't any problems with them. I use them for my snacks a lot of times when I don't feel like cooking something.
