What type of vitamins, supplements, calcium are you taking?
I have been taking two chewable kid's vitamins a day, one prilosec, 4 tums for calcium... I was told that this sounds strange and probably is not enough. Let me know what your doctors told you to do please.
Thanks,
SL
Hi,
I'm taking what my Surgeon says that I should take. A multi-vitamin, a Calcium, Iron, and B-12. All of these are chewable and are available on line. The name brand of mine are called Bariatric Advantage. Shop around on line for best prices. My doc says childrens chewables are not good enough for our special dietary needs.
Hope this helps,
Joni
I take 2 flintstone complete at bed time
1 b12 (1000 mg) sublingual once a week (sunday)
2 tums smooth dissolve afternoon
I also take atigall 2 times a day (to keep from losing my gallbladder) for the first 3 months.
my surgeon said when I get to 3 months I will be able to go to regular vitamins(yeah) I hate chewables.
I takk the following:
two Bariatric Advantage chewable multi vitamins (one in the a.m. and one in the p.m.)
one 29mg BA chewable iron in the a.m.
1000 mg calcium citrate (either chewable BA brand or Citrical Chewy Bites - one mid-day about 2 hours after iron and one at night)
I also was taking pepcidAC but only for the first 30 days, and I take my blood pressure med and Urso (anti gallstone).
