Only liqids for 48 hours after a fill ???

Anyone else out there have a fill and the Dr. say only liquids for 48 hours afterwards. Is this just for now or will this be after every fill? Just wondering so that I can be prepared. I know, I should have asked but I was kind of in shock. Good news is : I did not even feel the needle. Please let me know.

I am gonna have to honestly go look at my paper work .. I am sure I remember something about liquids .. for a period of time ok just looked at paper work said nothing about liquids.. guess I will find out when I have my first fill So do u feel any different after a fill?????? restriction? I can eat anything except mc Donalds sausage MC pukey.. let not start that story again LOL.. and real lemon in water ugh nasty .. tried it again it was a no go once again .. today .. and i just figured why I get sick on a lemon no citris .. I had my lap band on 4-5 and had my first fill 2 weeks ago. My doctor said to continue the diet I had been following, which for me is fairly unlimited I have finally begun to notice, in the last couple of days, more restriction in the amount, but I really haven't found anything I can' t eat. I have not lost anything in 4 weeks, until the last week and I have slowly started losing again! Wasn't it great not to feel the fill!!! I was pretty nervous and laughed at myself when it was over at how easy it was!
