feeling cold?

Anybody got the chills yet?? It's crazy, I sleep in 4 layers and have 5 blankets on the bed and also have the heat cranked up. I know we're supposed to get cold as we lose, but this is ridiculous.

I am cold ALL the time. I wore a jacket and it was 87 degrees outside.

Move to Arizona! You will warm up in NO TIME! LOL! I ocasionally get cold, but only if I have been sitting in air conditioning for ahwile and not moving around. Once I get to walking around though, I am ok.

Well that is great news, but I guess we better get losing so we won't freeze come winter....LOL....Your body is burning fat....woohoooo

Prior to RNY I never in my life got cold. Even in winter never wore a coat (of course it doesn't really get that cold in north Alabama too often). NOW I am like you ...my children think it's so funny. I have found out though that you can have hot flashes even if your hands and feet are frozen! I'm assuming it's something to do with blood flow. That's the only explanation I can figure out because once I had surgery I didn't have to take any more blood pressure meds....now WHY would stomach surgery affect BP? Blood flow? Wanda

I've heard that ppl go off a lot of their meds soon after this surgery. Maybe just the lack of stressing about your weight helps a lot, who knows? I never used to wear a jacket at work, I always wanted the air cranked up even during the winter, now I fight over the work jackets with a coworker who has had this done, some days it is so cold I can't stand it.

I get chilled very easy now and I'm a hot natured person. I especially notice it right when I got to bed every night.

I'm currently inside my office with the air conditioner off and a space heater at my feet....It's 80 degrees out lol! My coworkers think I'm cracked!
