One month out and only 13 pounds lost
I feel your pain. A friend of mine is only 3 weeks out and she is 35 lbs down. I will tell you what the docs and nutritionist have said to me. the more calories you take in the more your body is williing to let the fat go. If you didn't have alot to lose ini the first place it may take you longer to get it off. Switching up your exercise routine will also help. You work different muscles. Hope it helps and I wish you much Loss (weight that is).
Thank you Jeneen. I know, I hear all the time about those that are losing weight in record numbers and it boggles my mind! I've been stuck at 205 for a while now, then before that I was stuck at 208, it just goes on and on. I'm going to try to up my protein and see if that helps, I mean, the reason I had this surgery is so that I could eat less, not more! But I'll do whatever it takes at this point in the game! I think I'll do a different cardio tonight too, thanks for that suggestion! Good luck to you as well!
Well then, perhaps it's time I up my calories. I'm getting in 60g of protein a day, and not quite all my water. I understand this whole eating more calories or you body goes into starvation, but I have a problem with that being true cause look at any runway in America and you'll see what eating too few calories will do, these girls are thinner than rails and I'm sure it's not from uping their caloric intake...so I've always struggled with trying to wrap my head around that theory. Not to mention all my fat life I've learned that you eat too much, you get fat...this surgery is intended to keep you from eating too much, so I am just afraid to eat too many calories this early on. But if it's worked for others, I'll try. Thank you!
