vomitting sorta

Last night I had my first bought with nausea and vomitting. I think one of my medications got stuck. Everything I swallowed after that just seemed to sit in me. The problem is I never really threw up, Just like dry heaves and lots of saliva. My poor husband hand to hold back my hair. Later that night and diarrhea and still felt no better. I had to sleep it off and slept today until noon. Has anyone else had the same problem? Today I have absolutely no appetite. Not that I do anyway but I can usually force myself to eat. How do you all manage to eat when you really don't feel it in you? It's everything, the chewing, the taste, the smell, I'm just not interested. I'm not depressed I just don't really enjoy food right now. I don't even care for it. J

I went through that myself and still I have no urge to eat... But I know that I have to or I will get sick. I still have to force myself to eat. I would think that you did have something stuck but it went down and your body was trying to get rid of it but instead it might have moved what ever what stuck and then it passed. Just remember you have to eat to lose and eat to stay healthy...I hope that this helps...

Jeneen - try something that you have had before(within your allowable options from your dr) perhaps oatmeal, peanut butter on a spoon, cottage cheese, vienna sausage, boiled egg or scrambled egg. I've had days like you...when I just didn't have it in me to eat or face another protein shake. That's when i tried to switch it up and eat something different that I hadn't already eaten. I hate cottage cheese...but even that tasted OK when I sprinkled it with Splenda. Hang it there and keep your chin up...this too shall pass.
