Can you get a note from your doctor stating that it's crucial for you to be able to have a water bottle with you at all times to sip on and keep you from dehydrating after your surgery. Maybe they will make an except for you because it's a necessity.

I already asked about that, and the only thing they can do is let me hop in the back to get sips as often as I can. We have secret shoppers and stuff looking out for us having things at the register and they wouldn't know that I had an excuse, and we'd lose our bonus, which is a lot of money for us. they don't make exceptions for anybody with this kind of stuff. also, I have a coworker who had this done, and is not doing anything like we're supposed to, so my boss said that since she apparently doesn't need to, then I must not.
