21 lbs... I stated to eat and the weight came flying off
I was in hell for 3 weeks no weight loss .. drinking protien 60 grams a day 800 calories and low cal food and nothing was comming off and then i read some where if u r in plattue then increase the protien to 90 grams of protien and increase calories to 1300 to 1500 eat protien and veggies and very little carbs the weight will come off .. I did that and oh my I been peeing like a race horse and dropped 5 lbs in 2 days.. and i still dropping.. like my body said yes yes yes u feed me to burn baby ....
I found a link for slow weight loss losers for lap banders and alot of people did this and this got them moving to burning and dropping weight.. again
I need lots of protien .. no carbs ok little carbs and veggies no salad but cooked veggies like squash .. being a diabetic I must avoid carbs like mashed potatoes rice bread .. i was eating way to many carbs because they r soft foods
My sugar is sooooooooooooooooooo low now ,, amazing i eat carbs it shoots threw the roof ..
Had a 2 egg cheese omelet but ate half of it with ketchup 1 peice of bacon
Protien drink 60 grams with milk 1%
A drum stick from el pollo loco with 1 tortilla and mild salsa yummy chew chew chew here
Last nite I ate 3 oz of fish and had 1 oz of rice and a citrus sause to die for ..
Blood sugar was under 100 all day long ..
So my question now is what is typical food day for u? how many grams of protien r u eating?

Wow Lisa, good for you! Glad to hear you figured out the secret to your weight loss. Sounds like you're doing really well. I just can't imagine eating all that food. It sounds so delicious and I sure wish I could eat too... but I am stuffed on a 1/2 cup of anything... and I'm having troubles getting meats down (like fish & chicken). They taste yummy to me but my tummy doesn't agree with my taste buds.
Here's an idea of what I might eat in a day....
Breakfast - protein shake
Lunch - 1/2 cup to 1 cup soup
Dinner - 1/2 cup refried beans
Snacks - 1/2 cup cottage cheese or yougurt or applesauce.
And lots of water usually between 48oz. to 64oz. And that's about all I can fit in! I've been craving grilled chicken, broiled fish and a delicious salad. Oh well...eventually I guess.

My typical diet now is:
Breakfast: 1 egg with cheese, ham, spinach, and red pepper
Snack: Laughing cow light swiss wedge-1 or 2
Lunch: 1/2 Lean Cuisine or South Beach meal
Snack: 1 small apple (no skin) with 1 Tbl peanut butter, or baby carrots with hummus
Dinner: Variable, usually just a little of whatever fish or meat and cooked veggie plus a couple bites of starch. If I'm low on protein at the end of the night, I'll force down a protein drink.
I am reading your posts and I am getting scared. I am hardly eating anything. In a given day I may get about 30g of protein mostly via a shake and my water. I have been very afraid to try eggs because of the horror stories I have heard.
Any advice would be apprecitated. Should I start out with a boiled egg first?
