Weight loss process.....
Ok, I'm sure I know the answer to this, but the question begs to be asked. Do you lose every day, or are there days that you don't lose and days that you do?
I've been at 283# for the past 3 days. It seems that I'll lose a pound here and there now, not everyday like before. Maybe my body's catching on and trying to slow things down?
Hi Jeffrey,
I had been losing 1/2 to 1 pound a day until this weekend when I stalled. This morning I was down 1/2 a pound. I am sure that there will be a plateau coming soon, as you are experiencing, but don't discourage, it's bound to happen, and more than once, it's all part of the process. You keep working your doc's program and make your little tummy happy and it will come off
Inky
I lost 10 lbs the first week, then nothing at all for the 2nd week. That scared the heck out of me, because I hadn't heard of anyone plateauing that early in the process. But, alas, I then lost another 6 lbs in 6 days, so I guess it just ebbs and flows. I will try not to freak out every time it happens, but just in case I do - be on the lookout for my post requesting the plateau stories and reassurances!
You'll be on your way again in no time.
Ok, I figured out why I wasn't loosing - let's just say it had to do with too little fiber. This morning I hit 281#. Down 24# overall in 20 days post op. I'll be mixing more Fiber-sure into my h2o and crystal light from now on. I'm thinking of not weighing every morning anymore - though I'm not sure my OCD will allow me to do that, LOL
