Need a pep talk
Tiffany....
I'm 7 weeks post op and know how you feel. I keep wondering...am I the one it won't work for? But this is a guaranteed will work!!! Follow your program, keep up your exercise and STAY OFF the scale. I wasn't seeing the number fall either, then I put on a pair of jeans I haven't worn in 4 years...and they fit again! Just because the scale doesn't change doesn't mean you aren't! Stay strong the scale will follow!
Hugs!

Hi Tiffany,
Most of us are going to experience a stall(s) on our weight loss journey. I had one that lasted 5 days about 15 days out from surgery.
My Doc explained it to me this way. Your body is trying to recover from the rapid weight loss. Things are repositioning and tightening up. So even though the scale stops moving, the slimming process hasn't.
Be patient. Keep the faith. Work the program. Your scale will catch up eventually.

Tiffany - Stop weighing yourself. I know it is hard, but I found that my plateau ended when I put my scale away. How do I know? My clothes are falling off and I can see that I look different. I do weigh in at the doc and at the gym (no more than once a week) but not at home anymore. I wonder if the stress of being on a plateau actually makes us hold onto weight. We release hormones under stress and hormones can make us retain water. I don't know if that is true, but just a thought. You're doing great.
