In need of support... WARNING: Complaining.

Thank you so much for the much needed support. I will look into FUZE. Yesterday I tried something else with the crystal lite. I took a liter bottle and put in 8 oz of OJ and filled up the rest of the bottle with water and put one orange sunrise singles pack in there and shook it up. I put it into a smaller bottle and was actually able to drink that. I learned using the wide mouth bottles are a very bad idea, too much air! Today tried doing one fruit punch single to 1 liter of water and having a hard time drinking that though. I definately miss soda. I do decaf coffee wheen I feel I have to have coffee, or I do herbal tea so I am okay in that department. If you find any more good finds like that for liquids, please let me know!

Brandy, I had my surgery on 4/25/07 and I must tell you that I thought that I was the only one having these problems. I have been so afraid to complain about my lack of ability to eat anything and the fact that I have thrown up more in the last week than i had ever done in my whole life combined. I was afraid that I was the only one that had a pouch that grumbled constantly and couldn't even figure out how to ge****er to stay down. THANK YOU for taking the time to complain and for making me feel like i am as normal as I can at this point. Letme know if you have any suggestions. Katherine

Yours is a bit different. I haven't actually thrown-up even though I feel like it. A friend I made through here had a stricture, where the hole to the stomach is to small, and she had problems with keeping anything down. if you are taking small sips of water and it won't stay down you need to contact your surgeon. Don't want to take any chances. You are very normal even in this cir****tance. A lot of people get stricture and they put a tube down your throat and stretch you back out. Let me know what your surgeon says!
