My pouch can hold more than I thought it should???

I am almost a month post op. I am looking forward to my first fill. It seems like my stomach can hold more than it should be able to. I am on mushies and I will bring reg. foods back into my life next week. I have lost 15 lbs but I am at a stand still. Anyone else feeling this way? M.Y.

Yes. I thought my pouch was going to be smaller with what the team told me, but I think mine is too big. I go to the doctor for my four week checkup tomorrow and I hope he will at least schedule a fill in the next few weeks. Becca

I found the same thing. I had surgery on April 5. So,I am down 17 lbs since surgery and 27 lbs since January, when I first had a consultation.The thing is that the band is not filled at all when the put it in so that you can heal the first month is what I was told at my visit last Thurs (4 week post-op). I requested to be filled so I am at 2cc now and even then,it holds a little less but still more than I thought.It is hard for the surgeon to palpate the port at this stage and the fill felt so weird, and know that the area stays sore the next few days and I still have a lovely bruise there.
