Has everyone been moving it?? I am proud to say that for the first time ever I dragged my butt into a gym on a Friday night!! Woo hoo. Tonight I started to do some moderate strength training (leg presses, extensions, bicep curls, bench press, and some light core work) for 30 minutes then 30 minutes of varied incline walking (2% to 10% incline at 3 mph). I feel great. And when I got home, low and behold I stepped on my friend the scale and I was down over a pound since this morning. (Not that I believe that working out once makes you lose a pound - but whatever! It was a great perk!) It was especially nice because I hadn't lost anything this week. And of course a disclaimer - my doc cleared me for this level and these types of activities. Everyone should do what's right for them. So what has everyone else been doing?? I am off to Boston for a work trip tomorrow and plan to walk, walk, walk the city.

I haven't been able to exercise for 2 days now because my fibromyalgia is flaring up really bad right now. It always seems to flare when something in my life changes. Guess the surgery is catching up with it. Hopefully it will calm down over the weekend. I am having major back, hip and leg pain

Well, I'm not quite 2 weeks out yet, but I'm proud to say that my family and I have been walking a couple times and the second time we doubled the distance. I know that may not seem like much to some but for someone that hasn't been able to walk due to destroyed knees.........that is A LOT!! lol I love our family walks and so does my family. I plan on getting out and doing it every other night and progressing to every night. Our 4 kids LOVE it and I like spending that time with my hubby too! Allie

OK, Jessica, you're making us look bad. I guess I'll have to actually start going to the gym again now. Thanks for the inspiration!

I haven't been cleared for the gym yet but I"m finally walking about. I signed up for the " Walk to Iraq and Back" program here on post and Today I made it the first Quarter mile. I hope to be up to at least a mile by the end of the month. I know that I like to pu**** in the gym so I am going to take my time about getting back in there. In the mean time I'll get back on the Yoga for some toning. Way to go everyone!!!!!!!!! Peace Blessings and shrinking bellies.

I have been told to bicycle 5 minutes a day because I feel so drained. I have been good about that.
