Stricture update

Today was my endoscopy and yes, it was a stricture, which had closed to the size of a pinhole! No wonder I was having so much trouble! The doc was able to stretch it a little bit, but not as much as necessary. For some reason, the sedation didn't work on me even though they gave me 3 rounds, so he couldn't be too aggressive. Now I have to schedule another session, this time with full anesthesia, hopefully on Friday. The good news is, from this little stretch I was able to eat some soup and pudding tonight. It was heavenly! Thanks for all your kind wishes and I'll keep you posted.

Sounds painful Lisa! I'm so glad they figured out what it was and they will be able to fix it the next time around. Kind of annoying to go thru this but at least you'll be well on your way after this fix! Cheers!
