Question ????????????
My question or should I say questions are.
I had my surgery on the 23rd, I have not weighed myself yet, I am going to wait until my surgeon appt. on the 8th. But I don't feel like I am loosing weight is anyone else feeling like this? I am struggling to get my liquids in - is that normal? Also I have 0 appetite is anyone else feeling this way? When I first had my surgery when I drank it felt like I had swallowed a gas bubble this has gotten better, almost gone, this has improved greatly has anyone experienced this?
Sorry for so many question but I am wondering.

Hey Roz, I had my surgery on the 23rd too. I feel like I have lost weight, but I have that feeling in my mind that they will tell me that I haven't lost any!! LOL I don't have any problem getting my fluids in. If anything, I feel like I can get too much in. Also, I do have an appetite. I'd eat a hamburger right now if someone offered me one......LOL

Hey Roz,
I too am struggling to get in my liquids. Are you doing sugar free jello, and popsickles? That counts as well. I posted a message earlier this week saying that I too had no appetite, and I could'nt tell if I was hungry or full. I still can't tell. The gas bubble feeling for me left around Tuesday. Everyday gets better.

I didn't think I had lost anything before my 1 week appt., Even though we know that's not humanly possibly after what our bodies have gone through. I think maybe it's just that fat chick in us that always tried to lose the weight but went to the doc and found nothing had changed ( outside) This time the change is all over. You have probably lost weight in places you aren't thinking of, for instance I know i've lost a bra size and can tell from the fact that when I raise my arm now the fold of skin is completely gone. Also check out your midsection where you had the lovely rolls. You'll find they have a new look to them. I have always wondered if the weight loss would go the same as when you exercise and lose. IE from head to toe or will it happen all over.
Some days my appetite is better than others. One thing that has helped is to stay away from the kitchen when meals are cooking. The smell makes me feel full. For liquids the Book " Weight loss Surgery for dummies" Suggests taking 2 sips every minute. So far it works and I've gotten to the point where I don't think about it much anymore.
Keep up the good work. Each day gets smoother.
Peace, Blessings and Shrinking tummies.
Thanks for the reponses they really have helped. I did get an actual hunger pain on Saturday but I had not had anything to eat or drink and it was about 11:00am, once I got something in my system I was fine.
I did not realize that the jello and pops counted that is good to know. Tomorrow is my weigh in day, I will see how much I have lost.
