Aww Lisa I'm sorry are feeling so crappy. I'm 6 days post and starting to have a little more energy. But I'm still pretty tired and have to nap at least once a day in order to get through the day. I don't have mu*****ision pain which is nice...that seems to be healing nicely. But I'm worried about not being able to get all my liquids in or enough protein each day. I know if we don't do that we can delay the healing process and make things worse for ourselves. You mentioned no lemonade??? Why is that? I haven't heard about that. I bought crystal light lemonade and have been drinking it. Maybe I shouldn't be drinking it if we aren't suppose to have it. Where did you hear this?
I will be keeping you in my prayers that you will start to feel better soon. And yes, even with our doubts on those bad days... it will all be worth it in the long run. Hang in there!
Cheers,
Lisa S.
Hi. My doc said no citrus (including pineapple), tomatoes, or spicy foods for 4 months. It irritates el groucho poucho! I don't think CL counts, but it probably wouldn't hurt to stay away from it, since there are a hundred other flavors. Of course, we all have our favorites that we can't live w/out, so I'm not preachin'!
I've had tomato soup and it hasn't bothered my tummy at all... but I haven't had any citrus fruits yet and will probably stay away from those for a bit. Allthough I know some people who mix their protein with orange juice and it doesn't seem to bother them. I was told to jus****er down the o.j. and strain out the pulp! Haven't tried it yet but I might soon just to see how it sits on my tummy.
Hope things are going better for you Lisa. Take care!
Cheers!
