Why does my real name come up in posts?

I really ticks me off that I have a user name, I have selected this to be shown on my preferences. But most times when I post my full name comes up. I don't want some people seeing me on here. Many people don't know I've had this surgery and I don't want them to know. And yes, people do search my name on the web. What gives?

I was thinking the same thing... I wanted to be annoymous in my weight jouney not broast cast it to world..

Have you gone to the main board, to user settings and picked user name as your display name preference? then you need to make sure you hit save or it will still do your first and last name.

Yes I have, I'm even logged in as Scoozi right now.

Well I'm logged in with my username but it's not the same as my disply name. You have to do it from the main board on user settings where you change your signature line. I bet if you try it, it would work. Just follow the steps I gave you. Allie

Oh wait..........I bet I know why it won't work. this board has not converted over to the new format......I'm so blond. So if you don't want your first and last name to show on this board.......you need to go in and change your first and last name til all the boards get switched over. Sorry I didn't think of that before! Allie

Yeah well just go in and change your first and last name. lol I have no idea when the powers that be will change the boards up. Hopefully soon. I can't keep track of what board is in what format half the time.........lol Allie
