Question reguarding protein intake/vitamens

Hey everyone I have been post op for about 3 days and was wondering if anyone knows if i take a protein shot of 25 grams should i wait 30 min or so to let it obsorb into my body like i would if i ate somthing as we are not supposed to eat and drink together, because usually if i take a shot i cont. to drink all day as i try to keep as much liquids going as possible at this point / same with vitamens do we wait or no ? thanks for your help

I would say yes, wait. When I do my protein, I have to wait because it fills me up so much.
