some helpful tips on liquids
Hey 25 ers just thought i would post on some trial and errors i have found out so far with my liquids. #1 I am sure most of us has been sipping all day as our DR. says but very helpful in getting liquids down first day 62 0z. in #2 found adding a sugar free popcicle to diluted fruit juice works wonders. #3 add ice to drinks so they dont go warm after a period of it sitting while we sip # 4 isopure i cant tolerate the taste is horrble tried a couple of flavors taking the others back to GNC, unjury is great so far used the strawberry so far i am sure the others are good too will keep you up on the taste of flavors. protica profect is outstanding taste like liquid jello 3 oz. has 25 grams of protein wow it is the best go for this again wow. Have not tried carnation instant breakfast yet but my Doc reccomends. took my flinstone vitamens no probs they are tolerable for me. well any tips post here as i will keep you up to date week by week from liquids and soft purees soon keep up the good work 25 ers
I'm a pro at protien LOL, having done a bit of body building and muscle work, and I don't understand why people here don't get on to the professional body building sites for their protein powders. Those have great tastes and are low in carbs and pack whopping punches of proteins. Most of them are like double thick milk shakes - c'mon y'all you used to drink those at MacDonalds, admit it. But they can be thinned down if you can't bear them like that. I like EAS, USN and Atkins. EAS packs in 42g of proteins into fantastic flavours, specially their tropical pack (no I don't work for t hem, I'm just annoyed I can't get them in HK anymore).
I mixed a half of banana, a few frozen strawberries, 1 packet of splenda, 8oz skim milk with a scoop of tasteless whey protein poweder & ice. Mixed it up in the food processor and it was delish!!! Sipped it slowly an enjoyed it totally... with a total of 25grams of protein! Oh, and I strained it too because I didn't want to get any of the strawberry seeds or pieces in it... just in case. The protein powders taste good when mixed with a little splenda, ice, milk & fruit. That's the only way I've been able to get them down. This is only my third day so I don't think I'm doing too bad. I really need to start measuring how much liquids I take in through the day. I'm not really sure if I'm getting enough each day. I'm sipping all day but not sure if it's enough. Do you all measure?

Well i have been adding in my protein liquids today as doctors says day 3 after surgery so i put that into the count board to make sure i get enough for the day. tried Eas carb sense shake but to me not as good as world wide pure protein shakes. like i said before ics has been a great help adding to drinks , also i have been adding protein bullets"profect" to crystal light and ice and is wonderful. well i will keep it coming be sure to post your tips too!
