I'm home!!

Hi Everyone, I'm home from the hospital. I had surgery on April 17. I came home on the 19th. Everything went well except for a minor allergic reaction to pain medication and my fatty liver that my doc discovered. This is why the liquid diet is so important. Anyways. I told myself I wasnt going to be weighted until my 1 week post operative appointment. I couldnt last that long. Drumroll please!!!!! I have lost 12.5 since tuesday. I am so happy to be on the looser bench. Jenn

Wow I had surgery tuesday also, I hope that I've dumped as many lbs as you - you are doing fantastic!! I go tomorrow to have my drain and stuff removed so I think that I will weigh then...Congrats on your progress!!

Welcome back Jenn! I bet it's wonderful to put this all behind you and look forward to a skinnier you! Sounds like you're off to a good start! Congrats on the 12.5 weight loss! I;d like to hear more about the fatty liver thing? What happened? My doc never said I had to be on a liquid diet before hand. But I have put myself on a semi one. I've been eating only a lite salad & tuna or chicken for dinner and the rest of the time drinking protein shakes and lots of water! Cheers, Lisa S. (surgery date is the 25th)

Jenn - welcome home loser!!!! Don't it feel great? Take it easy, get lots of rest and sip away! Take care and save me a seat on the loser's bench (my surgery is Monday - yeah!)
