Hi guys I am two weeks post op and i am on a puree diet, I feel like eating every hour, wheter is jello, pudding, cream of chicken, etc. I do feel full right away, but the urge is still there. I think is all in my head. Everything I have tried, has agreed with my stomach. Have not had nausea or anything. Is this normal?? lol

I haven't had any nausea or anything either. I also have not found anything that disagrees with me and I am on a soft diet. I dont have the urge to eat every hour though, I have to remind myself to eat because I dont feel hungry at all. Best of luck Cindy

I'm just like Cindy...no nausea or anything. I have to remind myself to eat and when I do it takes a good hour to finish my 4oz. Are you drinking your protein and water? I know I am full on those things alone. Jamie

Hi...I am not feeling any nausea either. I am still on eggs, cottage cheese, etc.. and I have to remind myself to eat cause I have not felt hungry once yet. I do drink alot and with my lunch & evening snack I make a protien drink (minute maid lite or crystal lite with Unjury unflavored protien drink) I have been trying to make sure I get the 60 grams of protien in a day even though my doc says I don't need to be there yet. Next week I start eating tuna, chix, cooked veggies and vitamins...Can't wait. Take care, Dani

I am in the end of my third week. Each doctor is different with what foods we can eat. I believe I have 5 or 6 weeks that they call me to let me know which foods to add for the week. So far I have been able to tolorate everything. Best of Luck!!! And I know what you mean about our hair.... Dani

I have had a little nausea when i first came home from the hospital. I am so full when I drink broth a very small amount or water. But as this is week 2 now I am getting hungry fast after eating or drinking. I am taking my vitamins (One a day weight smart) and I am drinking my Whey protein supplement 2 times a day sometimes 3. I think it is because the swelling inside our stomach from the surgery is going down. Our bodies are healing. And since we haven't actually had a fill we are hungry. I hope that after our first first fill we can stay full longer. I look forward to mushies!!!!!! Who ever thought I would look forward to some scrabbled eggs and mashed potatoes. M.Y.

I cant do chicken broth anymore. Thats nasty!! lol... last time i tried it, it stunk and i couldnt drink it. i eat mashed potatoes, thats good, and the bad thing about it is that i like mashed potatoes, and hopefully i wont get tired of them neither.

wow you guys are so lucky!! I am on soft foods and everything makes me sick!! I became lactose intolerant and that make it even harder to find food I can eat. I lived on water and 1 s/f jello a day for the first week and now I am lucky if I get 2oz of applesauce maybe 2oz cream of wheat and 3 oz noodles with i can't believe it is not butter. that's for the day. I am only getting 40 g of protein in because they all make me sick!! I have some new kinds coming but it wont get here till Monday! and from what I see I am the one not normal!! you guys are doing great!!! I can't wait till I can finally have some meat!!! which is after may 10th!!!!

When I eat I am still only eating 2 - 3 ozs and it takes almost an hour to eat that. It will come, don't get frustrated. Best of Luck!
