I thought I'd share some of my product recommendations, thought it might be helpful to others. Please join in and share some of your favorites as well! One of my favorite things I purchased at the bariatriceating.com website. It's called the Blender Bottle! Their motto is... "Lumps are no match for the blender ball!!!" I just add my protein powder & milk or water or whatever you want and shake away! It comes out completely mixed, absolutely NO LUMPS and it's frothy on top too... which I love! http://store.bariatriceating.com/blenderbottle.html Now for a few protein mixes that I've tried and how they taste.... Any Whey Tasteless Protien is great! And it really is tasteless!!! You can add it to soups, water, pudding or whatever and you it doesn't change the taste of the food or beverage. http://store.bariatriceating.com/anywhinpr.html Ok for all you coffee lovers this product is SUPER!! Nectar Latte Cappuccino tastes great hot or cold! And when you shake it up in the Blender Bottle it has a wonderful frothy head on top!!!! It's got a nice cappaccino flavor well as nice as protein drinks go. http://store.bariatriceating.com/nenelaca.html I order 3 different flavors in this protein powder and so far I like them all! It's called... Whey Gourmet and the flavors I chose are: Vanilla Ice Cream Royale, Creamy Dreamy Milk Chocolate, Artic Cappuccino Frappe. The vanilla goes down smooth & is the perfect base to add fresh fruit too. The milk chocolate one is delicish & one of the better tasting chocolates that I've tried. And of course I love the cappuccino flavor and sometimes I mix the chocolate with the cappuccino and wow what a taste bud treat! All of these products are very high in protein and so far I'm very pleased with how they taste and very happy with my Blender Bottle! I just hope that after my surgery my taste won't change too much and I'll still like everything I bought. I sorta took a risk in buying these mixes beforehand but I wanted to try them and get use to using them. I put myself on a liquid diet and these products came in handy. I lost 5 lbs so far which I'm happy with. Hoping that after my bowel prep I'll drop another 5! So let's hear everyone else's favorites & personal recommendations! I love gleaning new info from others! Cheers, Lisa S. (suregery on the 25th)

I always have my blender bottle with me. I originally thought I'd be using the magic bullet for shakes but it takes in a lot of air. The blender bottle is the best for my shakes now. I also like the proteins. Seems we are on the same track

I've yet to uncover a protein powder that I can drink. Everything makes me want to gag now that I am post-op. But, I'm still trying.

Hi Lisa! I ordered the sample set from bariatriceating.com and I am really happy with all that was included, especially that blender bottle!! I can't wait to try all the stuff. I also read Susan Maria's book and the first part was interesting, basically her blog journals, but what I love are the recipes, they sound delish and I can't wait to try them out as the journey progresses! Thanks for your reviews Inky (right behind you on the 26th!)

Hi Inky, I ordered Susan Maria's book too but it's on back order so I haven't gotten mine yet. But I'm anxious to read it, especially the recipes! I'll save a seat for you on the losers bench! Cheers, Lisa S.

Well after a few days of trying this and that and getting mad and giving up. I finally found a protein drink I can handle. It's the isopure protein drinks...they taste more like fruit punch or whatever flavor you get. They are ready to use. A 20 oz bottle has 40 grams of protein and it can be counted towards your water content. WOOHOOO!! And right now GNG has them buy 1 get 1 50% off!
