surgery from hell .. home now

I had a surgery from hell they had to fix my hitial hernia and they had to go threw my sternum to fix it and when i woke up i could not breathe .... I am glad ro be home but i had no idea pain go be soooooooooooooooo bad ... went home on full liqids .. i can eat fine just my hitial hernia was a bear of a surgery the lap band went great.. ok time to rest glad to be home Lisa

Sorry you had a bad experience. Rest up and let us know how you are doing. I also had a bad experience, but it does get better!

I am going back in for more pain meds .. they gave me loratab and all it seems to do is make me nauseaded.. i begged for tordal and it really helps me with the pain .. I am not pleased with my doc seems he just dropped me like a hot potato after surgery and just discahrged me w/o comming in to see really how i am ... I am glad i am able to get stuff down .. just sucks having pain where u need a pillow to your chest to get up and down .. all the time .. what amazes me u think i would weight less now then i went in but i didn't .. too much of the iv coctail lol... but got on this am and i am down to 248 the same amount i went into surgery at .. discouraged u bet ... but then i have to say this i am 9 lbs less then i was 2 weeks ago ...
