Come on Monday!

Monday's my big day! I'm so excited and ready for this. On one hand it seems like it's taking forever to get here and on the other hand life goes by too fast especially with keeping up with a couple of teenagers, work, family, church activities...you know the drill. I started my 2-day liquid and cleansing diet this morning. I'll spend the weekend finish up packing, cleaning the house and organizing the kids schedules for next week. Thank goodness for my in-laws...they are taking care of the boys and getting them to all their games and practices. Now, I just get to watch the clock...tick-tock; tick-tock. Have a great weekend everyone and save me a seat on the loser's bench! Tammy

Good luck Tammy! I'll be praying for you on Monday that all goes smoothly. Sounds like you have everything organized & ready! That's a good start! I know exactly how you feel about the big day taking forever to get here and yet life is going by too fast. I can't believe next Wednesday(25th) is my big day... feels like I've waited forever for this day but it really hasn't been that long only 9 months. Now it's time to give birth to the new me!!!! You ladies will do great. You're prepared. You're informed. You're in good hands. Just take deep breathes and let the Dr's and nurse's do what your paying them to do. By this time next week, it'll be a done deal. By this time next year, you won't even remember being heavy. Keep us posted. DD

Hi Tammy, my Lapband is Monday 4/23 also. We will all be in each others thoughts that day..I have only been waiting since approval 3 wks, but it seems like forever ago. I am also so anxious to start my new journey, but thanks to this website, I AM SO READY. We have done our homework, so now its test time...We will all pass, the angels will see to it..Good luck birthday buddy (surgery day the same.) See you on the loosers bench soon... Pam-busdriver
