HEAD HUNGER ....HELP!

I AM HUNGRY. NO I AM ....HONGRY. I am almost at my 2 weeks but not until Tues. I want to graduate to mushies. It seems like it's never coming. Tired of chicken broth. Don't mean to sound ungrateful. What can help with my hunger! Almost in tears ~ M.Y.

I tried cream of mushroom soup....I had to strain it and blend it but it did help alittle....I understand the hunger that you are feeling....You are in alot of shock yet and your brain still wants the signals from your stomach....Remember you are healing still and in no time you will have different food to choose from.....I know it is hard....YOU WILL MAKE IT....

I feel ya I couldn't tolerate the thought of broth so I lived on sf jello 1 a day and water. I am now on soft food and not doing much better!! try a protein drink maybe or I froze water in popsicles and ate those (sf Popsicles made me sick). good luck to you

Hey muh banding sista Okay I am probably the last person you should be getting advice from - but let me tell you ... I sooooo cheated. Yes, I too am supposed to be on a restricted all strained diet for 2 weeks. But, I cheated and had a piece of key lime pie. Oh my god it was good. My rationing was that it was the consistency of pudding so what harm could it do. I guess I am pretty lucky in that I don't have to have a full liquid diet, rather I can have strained food. SO, I guess it will be me who has a borrito pureed first! lol Just think, you are almost at your 2 weeks. It's ironic really I mean I went into this thinking things were going to be so different, but I still have the same cravings and the same hunger - only difference is I can't hold as much ... something to get used to. I am the same way, I cried today, I am on liquids for a few more days also, its hard. Lets work together!! Jennifer
