9 DAYS TO GO!!!

On the 26th I will be banded, and off to loose about 80lbs. I am on the 2nd day of a liquid diet, and I am looking for suggestions on how to keep this up. Thanks

Hi Eve, No suggestions, but I just wanted to wish you luck. I am having RNY the same day and I'm so freaking nervous. I keep the positive in mind, and I trust my surgeon, his staff and the hospital, but I haven't had a major surgery in over 20 years, so I'm a bit beside myself with that! Here's to smooth and speedy recoveries for the both of us!! Inky

Good Luck to you too!!!! Let's make sure we keep in touch during recovery, the only person I will have around is my husband and I am sure I will get bored with him.

10 days for me! I'll be having RNY on the 27th, so I'm just on my first day of the liquid pre-op diet. So far... so good? This has come so fast - it seems like karma, baby, karma. Even my drive to the support meetings seems blessed - I never hit any red lights!! GREEN LIGHT ALL THE WAY!!! I can't wait to be a loser !!!

Hi Eve, Congrats on your upcoming surgery! I also have my surgery(RNY) on the same day as you and am so excited and nervous about it. I have my pre-op and surgeons consult tomorrow, then only have to do liquids the day before surgery as well as the oh so lovely bowel prep...........lol! I wish you the best of luck with your surgery and will see you on the losers bench soon! Clayton
