Just wanted to pop onto the April board and offer my sincerest wishes for safe and successful surgeries! It was a hard decision to make and go through and the surgery is just the beginning! If you are anything like I was you'll have ups and downs and regrets and stalls and a host of wondering just what the heck is going on! But take heart it does it so much easier and better! So good luck and remember that a journey of 1000 miles begins with the first step!

Hi Elle, Nice to hear from you. I loved reading your profile. I know everyone is different but it was nice to see someone who had surgery around the same time as me and where they are 1 year later!!! I was 233 the day of surgery which was April 5th. Today I am 217!!! I can't believe it, now I'm waiting for that scale to say 199,haha. I know those next 17lbs won't come off as easy I'm sure. So far, things have been going great for me. No pain, no sickness, I'm pretty much back to normal. Well, thanks again for your post. Keep in touch.

Elle, Thanks for taking the time to remember those of us who are going through it now. I'm sure I speak for most when I say that it's nice to hear that someone is thinking about us, specifically, at a time like this when everything kicks into high gear w/ the anxiety, family obligations, work, pets and whatever other real or imaginary things stress us out! Glad to hear you have done so well. Thanks again. Shana
