Having Surgery on April 17

I just can't believe that my surgery is tomorrow. Just last year in May I was being told that my husband's insurance would add the rider to cover WLS. So I sat around until August to find out that the rider was too expensive. Then I got a job right on the spot for the company I currently work for and it was a covered benefit. I guess they say everything happens for a reason. And now here I am 1 day away from having surgery. By this time tomorrow I will be out of surgery and already in my room! It's just so amazing!! And I'm not even nervous at all. I figured I'd ******vous wreck. But, I'm calm and feel like I'm making the best decision of my life other than marrying my husband. Anyone else feel like this? Having surgery tomorrow?

Tracey, Best of luck to you tomorrow...I have my surgery on the 19th and right now I am just a little bit nervous but we will see in three days how I feel. I have never had surgery so needless to say I think that is was is scaring me. My thoughts and prayers are with you and we all look forward to hearing from you when you are able.....Marcy

Hiiiiii.. Me too! Having it tommorrow. I am not too nervous. Really I am mainly tired and I know I won't be able to sleep tonight..lol. I am not really nervous because I really think I have a great surgeon. I am really confident in that. I am just very excited, and wish I were a week post op already..hahahah.
