My surgery is on Tues. 24th.

Im beginning to get a little nervous....!

Congratulations Joy for your surgery date. Don't be afraid and nervous, GOD will guide and take care of you. He will never forsake you! Trust in him! I had my surgery on April 10th, 2007. I was scared to death, but i knew GOD was rowing the boat and i knew i wouldn't drown. It is natural to feel scared. Just remember, "If GOD Brings You To It, He Will Bring You Through It" . Hi, my surgery is also on Tues. 24, i also am getting nervous, my pre op testing is 4-18 God bless, hope you have a speedy recovery.

I'm right behind you on the 25th, so I am also getting a little nervous! EEEK!

I am on the 24th also. I am not nervous about the surgery right now. I have a wonderful surgeon and know I could not be in better hands. I am too busy being miserable on the liquid diet right now...... Just remember, you and your Dr's had very valid reasons for recommending you for this surgery. Not having it could be worse for your health than moving forward. Take a deep breathe and trust your decisions! I hope you feel better.

Well I think I will be in good company on being nervious as well my surgery is april 18.. i am sooooooooooo full of up down emotions ..(family is thinking I may have a split personality LOL) I am hungry starving in fact and see my family eating .. kills me.. lol I can't even join them at the dinner table . A cow better now walk by me LOL or he is mine .. I am sick of protien shakes lol so neviousness is just one of the emotions I am feeling ..I have a awesome wonderful hubby that is being so there for me .. I was blessed with the best man on earth ( he had WLS down to 188 now) to get me threw this and with GOD in control I am in good hands See u on the losing side Lisa

Mine also is the same day as you and yes I am nervous but excited to I have waited a year for this and I am ready! Good Luck to you and chat with you on the other side while we are losing! LOL!

Oh me too, my surgery is the 19th & I understand exactly. I an having a difficult time distracting myself with other things. I just sit here in front of the computer reading posts, trying to learn everything I can before the surgery gets here.
