Amazing 24 of us r having WLS on april 18 .. big day for alot of us

Well fellow april 18 B days r u ready??????????????? I was thinking is this a record lol I am not frecking out yet I am still under the mode ok this will happen when I lose my 10 pound and final weigh in is tuesday am and i am thinking this is all going to smooth except losing the weight part ... I think i will be seeing it reality is gonna happen when I call at 4 pm for my surgery time or when i get the final yes on tuesday am .. anyone else feel kinda numb?????? I have 4 more pounds and i did see the scale 250 and 251 was final read out but i am gonna see 249 tommrrow I just know it !!!!!!!!!!!!247 here i come LOL Something I have not seen in years >>> yeah lol >> I keep thinking wow i am eating 800 calories of protien and i am not dropping the weight like i hope I would be no wonder i need the weight loss surgery lol I keep thinking need to be on 100 calories to lose or .. and i am thinking is this how it is now how is it gonna be after wls I in a trap of platue ... and once i get body use to burning fat not retaining fat it will go down ... I am trying to be positive even if it kills me LOL .. here .. I am gonna tell doc I am not cheating it is just me and my slow metabolism and this is why I need the weight loss .. then smile

I'll be right there with you, little WLS sister. All of a sudden it seems the 18th is coming too quick. But, I still can't wait to light this candle and get the maxi-melt going. Stay tuned. It's fittin' to get good. DD

hey yall, i am right there with you on the 18th. i go in at Noon. but most likely it will be 3pm, cause 2 r in front of me. but they told me to be ready if anyone gets cancel.. so i am ready as can be... i can;t wait to be get this wait and weight over with. my hubby just got home from his out of state project and it was so wonderful being with him and in his arms. i sure do miss him. our little dog won;t leave his side..lol and he gets to stay for 2 weeks.... yeahhhhhhh so cya on the losing side... hugs and Blessing to my WLS pals. glendalee

Yep, it's a big day, and I know we will all do great! I'm having some last minute anxiety and second thoughts, and am just ready to be on the other side! Here's wishing everyone a safe and successful surgery--I'm looking forward to everyone's posts on their weight loss! Nicole PS: I'm proud of you for losing weight before the surgery; I think I actually have agained a couple of pounds! But I'm ready to begin the process...bought an ellipticial and my hubby is going to set up a workout room for me in the spare bedroom...complete with flat screen TV and TiVo! I also found an absolutely gorgeous dress that I'm thinking about buying for a "goal" dress...there's a conference I go to for work every year on Hilton Head Island, and it would be perfect to wear to the conference banquet. I'm just not sure what size to buy!

hello i'm there here with you all. only 3 days to go and like Nicole i am a mixed bag of emotions. i never thought i would be so nervous or scared, but i'm a wreck. i have some issues going on with my boyfriend and thats just wearing me completely down but i have to look at my future. no more meds for diabetes, a thinner healthier me. i wish you all the best of luck and put my faith in GOD.
