My post surgery update

So ... I was able to cope with the nerves. Surgery went really well - though this after math of gas pains is truly painful. Apparently for the lapband they had to fill my abdomen with air ... and now that air is rolling around - this is why it is so important to walk. When I got home I went on my stationary bike - holding my tummy trying to work the air around. It is sooooo painful. I did manage to sleep some last night - thank god! Overall besides the gas pains I am in tip top form. My throat is still kinda sore from the tube so that makes drinking a little uncomfortable - but today is better than yesterday That's it for me for now ... my journey has begun. Congrats!!! Yeah, it's rough the first couple of days but you're on your way, baby!!!! It's good to hear about all the stuff folks go through before going through it yourself. I hate those throat tubes they stick in ya for surgery...POOEY Take care of yourself and keep up the good work!! Michele

GREAT WOOhooooo you made it home....I had bad gas pains also...If they continue get some gas-x it gets all the gas out and you will not hurt....
