I'm searching for a good bathroom scale so I can keep track of my weight loss after surgery. I bought a cheap digital one before and it's broke after a year. So now I need a new one. Anybody have a favorite bathroom scale you'd like to share with everyone? And where you bought it at and how much it costs? Thanks so much! Cheers, Lisa

I have a Tanita HD-351. I love it. Matter-of-fact, it's the unofficial scale of the OH Men's forum. Many of us use it. Here's what I like about it. 1. It's accurate and consistent up to 400lbs. It weighs in .2 increments. If you step on it 5 times in a row it will read the same everytime. My old scale would have given me 5 different numbers. 2. It stores your last reading, and displays it along with your current reading. Very handy. 3. It has buttons for 4 different users. So 4 different people can track their weight without neccessarily seeing everyone else's numbers. What I don't like about it. 1. The numbers stay on for about 30 seconds after you step off the scale. It can be annoying. Google it, and you'll find many places selling it. It goes for about 70.00 bucks I believe. DD

Thanks David for the recomendation! I bought the exact one you described at Amazon.com. It was $80.00 w/ S&H! Not too bad. It got a 5 star rating so that's good. I can't wait to use it... after my surgery! Cheers, Lisa

Cool. Everybody I know that owns one, is very happy with them. I hope you get much joy from yours... watching those numbers get smaller and smaller DD

I also have a Tanita something-or-rather. I have no clue what the model is but it measures weight and body fat percentage. Of course, you can just step on it and get your weight if you don't want to go through the whole process of putting in your height and all that crap. Michele

Almost forgot! Try overstock.com or ebay for one. I can almost guarantee it will be cheaper, even with shipping, than a local store Michele
