April 17th!!!!!

Hey...got a date for my band...April 17th. Soooo much sooner than i figured. I'm scared and excited. started liquid diet today. my co-workers are afraid i may try to eat them.

Every one of the people having surgery this month (A-team/A-list) is encouraging, supportive, and honest, which is so great to have as our dates come upon us. I've heard nothing good about the liquid diet, other than "It's good for you," which is ultimately why we are all here. Good luck w/ it and remember your friends are here to commiserate when you need them. Many people are going through the same things at the same time, so reach out and lean on them. Welcome!

I'm also having surgery on the 17th but I'm having the rny. So good luck to you. I haven't had to start a liquid diet yet, but I go see my nutritionist in a few hours so that may change. Just hang in there and you'll be on the losing side before you know it.!!

Welcome aboard the "A-train". The fast track to Loserville Last time I was on a liquid diet I ended up in AA. Seriously, we'll get through it with a little patience and a lot of humor. Enjoy the journey. DD

Congrats on your date, that is mine too, although I am having the RNY. I am also on a liquid diet, Optifast, not the tastiest. But at least it is one more week, I have been on mine since last Tuesday. See you on the losers bench, Jody
