hi guys my surgery is next friday and after 3 month this week i was reading the memorials and it really making me nervous .. hop[e everything will be fine i will need prayers from everyopne of you and good wishes too im also tire of being the fat of my group of friends .. my doctor is really good i trust him 100% but i cant help about being scare now ...

I did the same thing!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL, it didn't help me any but you know what...think about all the people that do have the surgery and come out fine and if you trust your surgeon your in good hands. You will be fine!!! My thoughts & prayers will be with you.

I thought I was the only one doing the same thing as you girl. My surgery is this Thursday. I wish you success....maybe in a year or so we can be the ones up here giving others advice

I haven't read the memorial page in over 6 months, since I really started to pursue gettting my surgery approved. Because I know if I read it enough I would chicken out even though a lot of them died from problems that didn't have anything to do with WLS. Plus, a lot of them had the surgery when it was just being talked about a lot in 2000 and 2001. I'm sure you will do just fine come your surgery date. My surgery is on 4/17 and I'm not nervous yet. Yet is the key word here....come 4/16 I'll probably be scared to death...lol. Good Luck on your upcoming surgery. And just think about the end results. No more plus size clothes, no wondering if your going to fit into that restaurant booth that the hostess always wants to take you too. While your thinking can't you tell I'm not going to fit in there you ding bat. Ok so thats me thinking it. But you get my point. You'll do just fine and be a "big loser" before you know it.
