My new birthday is 4-26-2007!!

Hi Everyone, I just realized there was an April 2007 board!! I hope all of you are doing well, and to anyone one having surgery this next week, good luck!! I am very excited, this has been a long journey for me, and the 20 days waiting for approval felt more like 20 years! I am just grateful to have insurance and to have one that did not exclude WLS. I am beginning to feel emotional about things, but I have made myself an excellent support circle, and also seeing a therapist for my food issues now, before surgery, to better cope with the grief I think I am going to feel afterwards. Is anyone else feeling like this? I know logically I will be able to taste food that I love (and find new ones as my taste changes) again, but I am working hard on better ways to cope with the reasons I turn to food. I think it will be a long process, but a rewarding one, to feel "normal" and "healthy!" Good luck everyone! Inky
