Trying to be Patient waiting for surgery date

I am due to have my surgery on April 16th. I am beginning to get some nervous but all the more excited to begin my new life. However has everyone done this and kept their sanity. I just want this done and start feeling better. I landed in my docs office this past Monday (kind of an emergancy visit) my left foot was soooooooooo swollen my ankle was gone and swollen to my toes. My right foot was swollen but not as bad. Now I am taking 100mg of fluid retention meds...........I hate pills.......ugh just to have my surgery and be on my way to a better me..............Brenda

so sorry to hear of your ankle problems. we r all nervous. this is a new fork in the road for us. my lapband isn't until 4/23. did u twist your ankle that it swelled up ? hopefully u will recover fast. i hate pills too. being so close to your surgery date can u do your fasting liquids ? probably not, but good luck to u. the rainbow is behind the clouds girl !!
