April 11 is the beginning!

April 11th is my scheduled surgery date and the beginning of my new life! How wonderful it will be to be healthier and feel younger. I have been trapped in this fat cocoon too long and will emerge as a beautiful butterfly. Is there any other April 11th newcomers?

Hi, I've been checking out the April board but this is my first post. I'm scheduled for April 11th also. I don't know about you but I sure am getting the RNY jitters.

Hi Josie, (Hope that's ok).. I have a few jitters too but am so excited. I have some jitters about how life will change so much afterwards and that makes me a little nervous to say goodbye to my comforting foods. Good luck to you Josie and let's say a prayer for each other before we go in, K?

Everyone calls me Josie at work, not a problem. There are certainly alot of foods I've been thiking about too. Did you have to do a diet? I see that so many are required. My Dr.s Office told me have a good time and enjoy before my surgery. I just can't eat past midnight the night before. I thimk a 2 week liquid diet would have driven me crazy! What time do you have to be at the hospital? I have to be there at 6am and I get to come home on Friday? As far as prayers go, not a problem I've been saying them constantly.
