A tee shirt and a pair of shorts. Ask me AGAIN if i am ready! A tee shirt and a pair of shorts! Ask me AGAIN if.... I..... am.....ready? FREE from emotional and physical pain. Glares, Stares, Judgemental faces! Looking AT me...... Past ME.......Ignoring the inside of me! ASK ME AGAIN IF I AM READY!!!! A tee shirt ~ Ha! ~ and A pair of shorts... ~haha! Something so simple.... NOT simple....Setting us FREE. How many of you have been asked by coworkers, friends, family. Are you ready for surgery? Are you sure you want to go through with this? My new answer is going to be a tee shirt and a pair of shorts. It has been about 15 years since I could wear a tee shirt and a pair of shorts. This is my creative, self expression. I love to write poetry. This one is dedicated to all of my supportive April Forum Lapband buddies and to my wonderful fiance for rubbing my back every night and making me take me bag of medicine (that I look forward to trashing!) and for listening to me whine. Maritza ... that is very cleaver. I am so pleased that you are prepared for your new beginning. I am having some issues getting there. Maybe it's because I thought that I had a really strong support structure behind me ... but really I don't. What a slap in the face that is. Oh well ... Can you imagine ... I mean really imagine a summer of "a tee shirt and a pair of shorts"? Damn ... you go girl!

I love what you wrote Maritza!!! You're very talented! You go girl! And oh my gosh, the thought of looking cute in shorts & a tee shirt thrills me. I can't even imagine it! I also look forward to rocking my husband's world again. You see a long, long time ago we had a very fun & active sex life.... but over the years of having babies & gainning weight, and gainning more weight, that part of our world seemed to slip away. I told hubby to get ready... his world is about to be rocked by the new slimmer me!!! LOL!

We are going through the same thing. I know what you mean! He has no idea how much his world is getting ready to change as much as mine. and your hubby is going to fall in "Lust" all over again! M.Y.
