APRIL 2nd...ARE YOU READY!!!!

All you fellow April 2nd surgeries, ARE YOU READY?!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe that come Monday morning, I will begin my new life. I'm in complete amazement over what is about to happen. I'm not scared or nervous, just EXCITED I wish you all luck and don't forget to meet back here when it's all done. I figure it will probably be about a week before I'm back online, but I will be back. Just a review of what I am taking to the hospital to make sure we are all prepared: Chapstick Slippers Books Toothbrush/Toothpaste Deoderant Shampoo/Conditioner Lotion Hair tie/brush I'll wear loose clothes and sneakers to the hospital and wear the same thing home. I don't have a robe, otherwise that would be on my list. Insurance Card/Health Care Proxy Spirometer Medications I just added a couple things that I forgot, so if anyone has any other suggestions, please share. Good Luck to all and God Bless! Michelle

6 am sharp! Haven't packed yet but I've got my laundry all done and my house spotless!! Good Luck my Baratric sister and brothers!

Monday is my big too! 7AM they'll have to hold me down to keep me from skipping into the operating room. Can you tell I'm not scared or nervous. I got my clearance from my PCP today. She was great...gave me a big hug and told me to call her next week. I am opting for slip on sneakers instead of slippers. For me they are more comfortable and provide more support. We're soon to be on the loser side! Good luck everyone! Cindy

I am ready too...going in on April 2 for 1:30pm surgery time - Having the Vertical Sleeve in Canada....Good luck to all of us on April 2 & God bless!!! May our surgeons hands be guided with God's love & tender care!! This is our time of re-birth & new life!!! Looking forward to that!!! A little nervous but feel great peace with my decision now!! You will be all be in prayers!!

Hey Surgery Buddies!!! My surgery is scheduled for around 3 p.m. I pray that we all do well! I think we are gonna have to pull up another losers bench, The april 2nd losers are gonna fill it up pretty quickly!! There are a bunch of us!!!! woohoo!!!
