I got My date and it's April 3rd !!!
I just found this Forum this afternoon and skimmed through it to find the faces and comments of those who are going through what I am - or getting ready to get into this two weeks post stage of panic. Not really panic, but a broaaaaaaaad mixture of every feeling possible. I am so glad that I have found you and that you are all here.
Thanks Cindy. I'll be thinking of you as I'm recouping in the hospital, walking in the hall, waiting to get home. And I'll know you're just one day later - doing the same thing. I hope your ten days before than are easy for you. I've been acting like I'll never be able to eat again. Hungry, hungry, hungry. :-l Darn. I want the hunger to go away. We'll keep in touch..... I got my date yesterday and I'm still walking around in a daze. Let's see -- I somehow deleted every trace of the checkbook on my Quicken program and then I was trying to install extra memory into my hubby's computer and ended up frying the hard drive! Thankfully, none of his work for his doctorate was on that particular computer!
It is unbelievable how you feel once you actually get that date!

I just read your profile or journal or diary or whatever it's called and saw your problems with your insurance company. When I was going through all of that with the offices where I had my evaluations done - and couldn't get the reports sent to the hospital, I felt just like you sounded in your notes. I am really glad that I haven't shared computer problems with you!! I will work on patience waiting, while you try to stay away from electronic equipment!!
Another person scheduled for April 4th. Good luck to you too - now I have two people to be sending good vibes to on that day instead of being focused on my situation. I looked at your profile and your kids look so neat. I have five adult "kids" and five little grandsons. Take care of you for your little ones!!
