April 2nd

I got a date of April 2nd. I am soooo ready for the change, but getting nervous as the days get closer. Started my liquid diet today.

Congrats and welcome aboard. April 2 seems to be a big day for WLS. Where are you getting yours done? Mine is 4/18. In Grand Rapids thru MMPC. DD

Thanks. I am going to Harper in Detroit (Michigan Obesity Surgical Specialist) Dr. Laker. I have a friend who went to MMPC - Dr. Baker. He talks highly of them. Congrats to you as well.

OOOhhhhhhh! April the 2nd is right around the corner. i know you are getting nervous but this is a wonderful thing and a wonderful opportunity for a new beginning! My son, who is 19, ran out of the house with tears in his eyes when I told him and yelled "I don't want to talk about it!" He is 19 and of course he knows it all and he would not listen to anything that I had to say about the lap band. He is scared and I understand however this could put 10 years on my life in the long run. I know that he will understand one day and be so glad that I made this change! m.Y.

Hi Dani, My surgery is April 2nd as well and I am so ready but a little scared as well but more scared of what might happen if I don't get this done. I just pray and keep my eye on the prize and follow the Doctors advice. Good luck with your surgery and see you on the loser side. Take care Robert
