Pre-op diets

I was wondering what kind of pre-op diets everyone has to do? I have to do a liquid diet 10 days pre-op. I start it on March 26th. ~Cindy~

I have to do a 1000 calorie diet,,,,similar to weigh****chers, one week before surgery...i start it 3/26 melissa

I don't have any special diet........just 2 days of liquids

I am on a liquid low carb diet for 2 weeks prior

I have to go on a liquid diet of Optifast 2 weeks pre op and 2 weeks post op. The doctor told me that it is to remove the fat out of the liver before surgery. I am schedule for Lap Band on April 11, 2007. Hope this helps. Good luck and I will be thinking of you. Lynnette

I have to do 2 weeks of Medifast before surgery, mine is scheduled on 4/20. Karen
