Jenn, my doctor thought 133 would be great for me. I am at 147 and couldn't be happier. I am not going to struggle and fight to get to a magic number. I have come so far and so have you. I am just so thrilled to be happy again. Kim M.

Topic: Can we take ER Meds?
Can we take extended release medications after surgery? My pcp put me on Ultram ER at bedtime for my fibromyalgia. Are we suppose to do these ER's? Let me know what you think or your doctor recommends. KIm M.

Does anyone take Neurontin for fibro or other ailments? I am wondering how your digestive systems handles it. I think my Neurontin causes my intense abdominal cramps. I think I need to change to another med. What works for you? Kim M.

Hi Joan, I don't post all of the time, but I do get on and read now and then. So glad to see you(same surgery date) and so many of our April buddies are doing well. You are so good about posting and keeping everyone up to date. God Bless your faithful, encouraging heart! Kim M.

Jenn, you have made such AMAZING progress! Just look at all of the awesome things you can do now. You have ended some very depressing coping skills and replaced them with terrific new skills. I understand depression. I have had it for 11 years, but as my surgery continues to work and refine my body, I am hopeful again. Give yourself time and be gentle with yourself. I am sure you are your own worse critic. I always am my worse enemy. Most of all remember Jesus will never leave us or forsake us even during our depression, tears and diseases. You will make it. I know you will. Also, call your dr. about that black blood. It never hurts to check on those kinds of things. I never want to call the doctor either, but do it ,that is why they get paid 'the big bucks"! God's Blessings on you Jenn! Kim M.

Ruth Ann sorry about your cold. I know sudafed doesn't work really well for me either, for my allergies. I use a prescription nasal inhaler for allergies and it helps some. Hang in there and it will get better. Julia

Floyd, I am climbing hills and you are running races. What next!!! I do not run---have never liked it. I don't mind the walking and with weight loss and impoved balance, I don't worry so much about falling now and if I did, it would not be so embarrassing AND I could get up on my own! What little things bring us pleasure now! I guess they are not little things but great big important things that we will never take for granted again. Keep up the good work Floyd. Julia

Floyd, you sure can be proud of your accomplishments. It amazes me constantly all the things that were difficult or impossible to do before WLS. Now being able to do them without even thinking. Congratulations on your win! Sher
