Jenn that is WONDERFUL!
I totally understand about not being online as much anymore. We have all been through so much in the last 18 months, what a awesome reward for you!
You will be in my thoughts and prayers, I hope the everything stays under control for you. Cherish those kicking moments because they will be gone soon enough, get lots of sleep now.
What great news, keep us up to date.
Hugs,
Jenni

I am late with this one, haven't been on much as I have been pretty busy living!
Current weight: 151
Pounds lost since surgery: 159
What new thing are you doing since surgery: Riding a bike, playing, climbing things, going, going and going!
I am so glad I had this surgery and would do it all over again in a heart beat!
The only thing I would do differently is exercise more from the start!
I am still getting WOW moments, few and far between but I love them all the same. I love going to the store and being able to just buy something cute off the rack and CHEAP! I went from a size 30 to a 8-10, so life is good!
Hope everyone is having an awesome end of summer, where have the last 18 months gone?
Hugs,
Jenni

I'm weird and I LOVED maternity clothes. You're going to look so cute in all the cute things they have now! Just think of how active you're going to be able to be with your little one!
I will keep you in my prayers for a wonderful pregnancy and easy delivery of your little kicker!

Hi all! I got the sweetest message from Joan the other day and wanted to pop in and say hello to you all. I have not been on OH much these days. My priorities have changed quite a bit from weight loss, but I still remember you guys and wonder how you're all doing.
I'm doing well. I got down to 169 from a pre-op weight of 255. Then, I GOT PREGNANT!
I am having my first baby on or around February 9th, 2008. It's a Boy and we're keeping the name a secret so that DH will be able to come out of the delivery room and say, "It's a ____!" The dads need to have their moment, you know. So far, I have gained about 12 pounds in 20 weeks, which they tell me is good. My diabetes is getting a bit rowdy, so I am having to crack down on the carbs a lot more. Evidently a baby can mess with your insulin levels. Figures, right? Its not bad enough that I get kicked from the inside all day, but he's got to mess with my body chemistry too! Sheesh.
But I'm still working for NASA, things are a bit slow, but going well. I just got a raise. DH might be getting stationed somewhere new next year right after the baby is born, so I'll have to roll with the punches, but at least I will get a lot of time with the baby. We are going on a little weekend getaway cruise to Ensenada on Oct. 5, and I'm looking forward to relaxing and not cooking or cleaning!
Hope to hear from you all. Sorry for the long-winded story, haha!

Jenni you look great!!! I love the washing machine hurdles! I too love being able to do that. Wow, I wish I could run but with leg and ankle surgery in 185 I no longer am able to flex foot to run.
Yes, the skin is an issue with me also and I would love to have TT but my insurance needs 6 mos of documented by Dr. rashes...only had one last Dec.
And breast lift w/aug would be a dream but I don't think that will happen in my lifetime.
Thanks for responding to the post. Good to hear from you and see that smiling face once again.
You have done great!

What new thing are you doing since surgery: RUNNING!!! Even though I'm almost always the biggest person on the track! I'm running my first 5K next month!! Oh, and I can also climb over my washing machine to get the socks and washcloths that fall back there
.
This surgery was the best thing thats ever happened to me and my family..
What do I wish were different? I never thought the excess skin would bother me, but the more I run and weight train the worse its getting. Sometimes the skin around my hips and tricep area hurt from bouncing up and down while running and it's been too warm for compression shirts and shorts yet. But in the big picture, its not really a problem.
Best of luck to everyone.. JenniV
