Lisa sorry you are struggling since I live in Canada don't know of any resources for you. Can your band clinic not help you? They should be able to offer you support..

My lapband was 4/15/06. I lost 80 pounds of 190 goal then started gaining. I am up 60 pounds. Anyone with any ideas that would be great. Trying to find a therapist in southern IL or St Louis who knows something about these problems. I'm not hungry, I just want to eat so I do and the more I eat the more depressed I get then I eat again!

Hi Donna - I rarely come here because I have never seen another lapbander here. I am not near goal - I would like to lose another 50 pounds or so but I am doing really well. I eat a little, drink at least 64 oz. a day and exercise everyday. I can run 3 miles without stopping and that is something I would have never thought I would do or want to do. Congrats on making your goal - that is awesome!

I am hoping others are doing well and reached goal, would love to hear from you! I reached goal at 20 months and at 22 months am now 6 lbs. below goal.

I had my LBL on 1/9 and am pretty much all healed, except for probably the same spot on the butt. I have had to use a cream and gauze on it for weeks, but my surgeon is going to close it in the office on Monday under local anesthesia.
Doesn't it feel wonderful to see yourself in the mirror without the hanging stomach?
I'm looking forward to seeing your pictures.

Hello All
I had my lower body lift on Jan. 28th. and I am back to work part time this week. Should be back full time on the 25th.
All went well, they managed my pain very good! I do however have an open wound on the incision at the top of my butt. It is a very common spot to open and there are a few others on the PS board dealing with the same wound.
I love my tummy and thighs. He took 10 pounds of skin off me. So I am now in a size 10/12. (155 pounds).
I hope to do my BL/BA in September. Have to start saving again. LBL cost me $14,500. Yiks!
Will take some pictures soon.

Hello, I started at 262 ( surgery day) . Today I am 152. My goal is 140. Getting this last 10-15 pounds off is very hard. But than again if i stay at this weight i am totally happy...............heck 110 pounds lighter / life is good.
