Topic: RE: Is weightloss over?
Someone posted not too long about a diet to follow to jumpstart your weight loss. You would have to go back in the messages to find it. Are you eating your protein or driking it? If you are not drinking protein drinks I would strongly suggest doing so. Are you eating white carbohydrates (white bread, pasta, rice) or sugar regularly? That can slow or stop your weight loss and eventually cause regain. My weight loss has slowed a lot and that's to be expected after 6 to 9 months or so. I have noticed that I'm having more carbs than I should so I'm paying close attention to that now. Sometimes no matter what you do or don't do your body is just going to plateau for awhile. Good luck figuring it out and getting the last of it off Lizzie

Julia P. Welcome to the board, yes we are a wonderful group here, and a very supportive group. Try do the liquid diet for 6 days. Just clear liquids for 3 days, then on the fourth day do the clear liquid plus one protein shake a day for the next 3 days and see if that wont jump start your systems. It worked for me. I was stuck for 2 months and this is what my nut suggested I do. You might try eating more protein too. Hope this helps. Kathleen

Help! I am almost 10 months out and I have not had much luck in losing since November. I keep going up and down by a couple pounds and have only lost a total of about 80 pounds altogether. Since Jan. I have been exercising 4 or 5 times a week (about 60 minutes on exercise bike), journaling my food, watching my water and protein. I am scared that I won't lose anymore weight. I have about 30 to 35 pounds still to lose to reach goal. Please let me know if anyone else has gone through this and if there if hope for me. I would appreciate any ideas people have to try and get back onto the losing side Take care Julia P.S I just figured out a little while ago there was this April board and have been reading your posts. You have a great group of people here!! Keep up the great work.

Hello everyone, if any of you are up at this hour (10pm EST). Hope everyone is well and keeping warm. I am nursing a cold, hope it goes away soon. B- yogurt smoothy with added 1/2 scoop any whey protien powder L- turkey and cheese wrap with lettuce, tomato, peppers, onion and honey mustard I also splurged and had a handful of chips s- 8 oz 1%milk with 1 scoop any whey unflavored protien powder and two Tbls pumpkin 1 pack splenda and touch of cinnamon. Delicious. D- 2 chicken wings s- sugar free banana muffin 30 minutes on tredmill Thanks for the idea to use pumpkin in a protien drink, I am really enjoying that for a change. Also, April what exactly do you do during your work outs to burn 750 calories? Hope everyone has a great weekend. Sher
