Shelster...congrats on the weight loss....and Yep freezing here too...even at 67 degrees outside my house says 63 and I get cold....at night I sleep in silk long johns for skiing and am always cold. The temp will drop to 22 again on Friday so don't be too mad at me in SC with 60's today. Joan M

Well, the bra thing must be a regular topic or problem area. I never wore a sports bra before but grandaughter suggested it because "Nan you do not have any more boobs"...so Nan went to Walmart and bought one that at least looked like it had a small shape for a cup and it fit! Now it does fasten like a regular bra because girlfriends let me tell you to pull abra on over your head with a torn rotator cuff is impossible!! Plus you look like a fool halfway down...I know I tried and on both counts are they nuts who designed those things!! But my wow moment was being with sister and her wanting to see my loose skin and she doesn't think it is bad...she said you just look like someone who lost a lot of weight! I love my sister...she is struggling with her weight but not as large as I was. She was such an encouragement to me and I laughed like I haven't in such a long time. And she commented that now she had to race to keep up with me...the "old woman" since I lost weight I run to and fro and do not walk with a shuffle anymore. This weekend I went shopping too. Needed new bras and didn't have clue to what size I was. Went to JCpenneys and got measured.... 38C, no wonder my girls have been sagging I was wearing the wrong cup size and band size. Then I decided to try on a pair of jeans, one size smaller than the ones I bought two weeks ago and they fit! size 14. I can't remember wearing that size, maybe it was in 9th grade. I almost started crying with joy. thanks for giving me my turn to boast. Sher

Julia this is the best place to come...we are all around the same stage in our surgery date and we all go through the same struggles and we help each other...I love these people here and they share their wisdom and their pain and we all work together to encourage and help each other...welcome and I hope you try some of the things the others suggested...they all shared what I would have shared. I am sitting at work with a heater under my desk. My co worker is out of the office so I have her heater pointing in my direction and I have on a extra sweater. My coworkers bought me a blanket that you wrap around you and your arms stick out just for the office thats on. For Christmas my kids got me an heated throw blanket and hubby got me a new electric blanket for my bed. It is crazy how cold we get! Hubby redid some of our heating vents at home so we could get more heat from our woodstove that we haven't used in over 5 years! It is now going full force! It was 80 in my house last night with FREE heat! (well free after the sweat of cutting the wood but hey that is exercise) Keep warm everyone!
