Oh my what an incredible WOW for you...isn't it a miracle how losing weight helps us in the area of joints and pain. You must feel wonderful and I am so happy for you!!!

Congratulations,
I dream of that kind of WOW moment. I still have times when I have to go down them one at a time. And a couple of days lately where I've wanted to go back to the cane.

Before my WLS my knee doctor told me not to take the stairs, because it was hard on my knee. I need a replacement, but he suggested try the WLS first to see if that helps as he says that I am too young, and the replacement will wear out before I do. Anyway, I have been walking inside at our Activity Center on College Campus.
I have decided today to try doing the stairs to see if I could manage them. Guess what I could run down them, and run back up. 
My Knee doesnt hurt at all. For me this is a big accomplishment as I havent been able to even walk down 2 steps without my knee hurting and bothering me so much that I cry.
Just wanted to share with all my wls family. Thanks for listening.

Thanks to all of you...we are uniquly and wonderfully made the Bible says and we are all prefect examples of that. And we are going to be even better as we continue this journey!! Love you guys and thanks for building me up...this older lady sure feels special today.... Joan

Thanks Sher...it amazes me also and I can only give the glory to Christ...He gives me strength daily to obey the rules for the pouch and I am forever grateful for Him allowing this surgery for me to be set free from the body I got after my accident in 1985..I am FREE!

Lizzie I love the taste of egg beaters but I still can't do the egg thing much....kind of like how chicken doesn't agree much. Even eating chick-fil-a is hard. Two little nuggets and pouch is done.

I will not eat all this Valentine's Day chocolate. I dont have any, so that part will be easy. My husband told me he wont get me chocolate because I dont need it,
