Topic: RE: Questions about Plastic Surgery...
I had my plastics in Dec ..... well part of my plastics....i had a circumfrential tummy tuck, i had been at goal for 3-4 months, and my bypass surgeon gave me the go ahead bc i have no intention of trying to get any smaller. my insurance DID cover my tummy, but from what i understand that is not the norm. the only documentation that i had was pics that the ps took in the office at consult. it was his idea to submit to insurance, so i went with it. couldnt have asked for a better christmas gift than all that skin gone forever. if you have any more questions you can email me at [email protected] take care and good luck~ jen

Tarra...our nutritionist just told us two weeks ago that at our stage out we can have up to 40% of our total calories in carbs. She wouldn't give set number just said to do the percentage so if you plan on sparks you can tell if you are over the 40% or not and then adjust. But try not to go over that amount. There is a great yougurt I eat that is lover in carbs. I buy it at Superwalmart...Fit and Active Carb and Sugar Control...see Ethel wants to klnow back posts to check out the counts. I buy the vanilla and I like it. Can add DaVinci SF syrup...I use Kualua and yummmm. Don't get discouraged we are all learning how to adjust at 10 months out. In Him, Joan M

Topic: RE: ouch.... I fell :(
Lizzie, I am so sorry to hear about that bad fall. I hope you will be well soon. I have a story to give you a good giggle as you recover. One night I fell coming up the stairs. I had a really bad headache at the time so I had wrapped one of those heat wraps for your back around my head. So here I was laying on our basement stairs crying and yelling like a wild woman for help. My family comes running and they take one look at me with that stupid heat wrap around my head and all they can do is burst into outrageous laughter. I didn't think it was funny at the time, but now when I think back, I am sure I looked absolutely hilarious. I be I could have won that $10,000 prize on America's Funniest Home Videos. tee hee A good laugh anyways. Kim M.
